Install OctoPod for OctoPrint app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using OctoPod on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "OctoPod"
The search will reveal the OctoPod for OctoPrint app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once OctoPod is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including OctoPod.
Now enjoy OctoPod on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use OctoPod,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "OctoPod" » then Click "Install".
- OctoPod for OctoPrint will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Fantastic tool for monitoring 3D printing!

I’ve only been 3D printing for about 4 weeks, but this app has made monitoring so much easier. I like being able to view the webcam and see my print status while away from the printer. Intuitive to use with a good amount of detail like temperature, print completion status ( % and time ) , layer height, full screen webcam and custom command. The only thing missing for me is the capability to see my time lapse or octolapse videos. Please consider adding in a future update! Thanks for all your work in simplifying my 3D life!

I’ve had an OctoPi (Raspberry Pi running OctoPrint & connected to my 3D printer) for well over a year and I only regret not having this app sooner. Being able to monitor and manage my prints easily and natively on a phone (or an Apple TV!) is something I’ve wanted for a long time. I actually found this app because I was looking for a way to get notifications and if that’s the only thing you need, this app has all of that, for anything you could want notifications for. Love it!

...and yet here I am. This app is just so awesome! I found out about Octoprint recently and was using it on my phone browser... then I found this app. OMG perfect! And then last night I realized I could access it on my Apple WATCH! I can even see the feed from the camera aimed at my Ender 3 Pro. Y’all, I can check on my printer from my watch!!! When I’m showing my kids how to do their math homework, they don’t even know when I sneak a look at how my print is going, LOL! Technology is amazing.

I’m still a newbie in the 3D printing world. That said, I’ve used OctoPrint from day 1 and I love it. this app is nearly the perfect companion, giving me access to the webcam, status, print start/stop features. If I had 1 suggestion, I’d say a slight design update to the main status panel to make the cancel job more prominent. When I need to cancel a job, I feel the current design doesn’t scream “use me to stop!”
