Install FSNotes app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using FSNotes on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "FSNotes"
The search will reveal the FSNotes app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once FSNotes is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including FSNotes.
Now enjoy FSNotes on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »

✔ Pros:

- Hashtag mechanism available

- Supports Markdown files

- Can organize notes with folders and tags

- Supports syncing with Simplenote or Dropbox (Mac version only)

☹ Cons:

- Unable to delete files from trash

- Missing icons for folders and tags

- No default open file mode available

- Poor overall app performance due to bugs and auto-closing

- No option to add custom themes

- Basic sidebar

- Bugs and auto-closing when pasting large content or pressing share button twice

- No option to share or print Markdown files

- Mac version caused issues with iCloud and had unacceptable quality

- iOS app (FSNotesManager) may not be much better than the Mac version.

Corrupts iCloud files; Mac app is the worst!

I installed Mac version on this app on Mac, and it corrupted my iCloud: claimed a bunch of space as FSNotesManager (although the app is called this app). The app had so many bugs, I was shocked Apple could even let it in its store and deleted it but could not clean the mess it created in iCloud. The developer should be ashamed, this app is of unacceptable quality. I finally paid for and installed the iOS app (FSNotesManager) just to clean up the mess that it’s Mac version created. I was able to delete the files, since app name matched. Then I immediately deleted the iOS app, which I assume is not much better than its mac version. Specifically, I was unable to delete notes from iCloud and reclaim space. Deleting the app, deleting files, trying to delete notes using the app UI (which is filled with bugs) did nothing. The only hope was that iOS app could do that, which it did. I filed complaint with Apple as this app (at least the Mac version) is in violation and shouldn’t be published until the developer fixes it. Considering the number of obvious bugs, I doubt this will happen soon. I didn’t have to purchase iOS version just to clean up the mess that Mac version has created. Also requesting refund.

- Delete files from trash not work. - Icon missing for folders and tags. - No default open file mode available ( preview mode or edit mode) - Overall app performance 45% because so buggy and auto closed - No option to add custom theme as Typora has. - Hashtag mechanism not so good - Sidebar is so basic - Bug and auto close when paste large content of md file. - Bug and auto close when press share button two times - No option to share/print md files
Not like Mac version

Was hoping for syncing with Simplenote or Dropbox as the Mac version was. Useless purchase for me.
