Install OmmBits app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using OmmBits on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "OmmBits"
The search will reveal the OmmBits app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once OmmBits is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including OmmBits.
Now enjoy OmmBits on PC.

I dig it.

I like that there are multiple panes, which is not a feature in OmmWriter. I also like the extreme minimalism. I'm quite sure I'll use this when I need to ignore everything to get something written quick. One feature I'd like to see is a setting for whether to black out any attached monitors. Right now it does not, and I think that sometimes I'll want that, but more often I think I'd like those other monitors to be blacked out so that the experience is more distraction-free. Another idea would be a setting to hide notifications while the app is open, but I'm guessing that's an OS-level thing you can't control.
When you just need to get to the first draft

Not everyday do you get to write a review using the app you're reviewing. 100% of the writing I do, whether it's an email or part of a business plan, needs a first draft. In that case I need to just go. No distractions, a blank screen and progress. This app accomplishes each of those goals. Hats off.
A little too stripped down!

I’m a big fan of OmmWriter so was excited to check this out. I love everything about it, including the concept, EXCEPT there does not seem to be a way to change the font size. My middle-aged eyes need a larger font! So this app is basiclaly useless to me because I cannot increase the font size. Please fix this!
Good, but needs adjustable font size

I like the app. But for high resolution screens, the font size is micro. Adjustable font sizing would make this app ideal.
