Best I can tell since upgrading to iOS 13 the app now always shows “server error” and other inconsistent functions on different devices. Just installed the module a week ago was working great before iOS update. Update: odd thing is two phones. One says “connect to home WiFi” which it is no feels like someone needs to check iOS 13 changes for app seeing WiFi connection. Updated again to 1 star. Now not working at all on iOS 13.1. The cloud Connection test worked with 13.0 but now just tests and disconnects every time. 5 months ago was the last update so this app and the $400 module is a total waste of money if they can’t test and keep up with new iOS updates like every other app vendor. Update 10/3. So looks like it got a certificate update that fixed the cloud connection but the app on iOS 13 still doesn’t think the phone is connected to the right WiFi. There’s still an iOS 13 issue on this app. I’m on the WiFi it’s telling me to be sure I’m connected to which means the app isn’t getting that data from the phone info. Clearly still not working right. The minor certificate update didn’t resolve the iOS 13 issue. It’s broken on every iOS 13 device I upgraded this far so it’s consistent. Update 10/10: Well someone actually listened. I opened a support case about iOS 13 issues and sent multiple screen shots of the issue with the app not seeing the phones WiFi connection. This update looks to have worked. Still not 5 stars only because app developers are supposed to stay on top of iOS releases and ensure they have a timely update without users explaining exactly what’s broken.

We purchased the the app Konnect with the knowledge that we would be able to run our new DTV+ shower system remotely (from our smart phones). The sales people at the plumbing supply stores were excited to tell us all about it. We have everything hooked up correctly and the App loaded but when we click on the link to set up our DTV to utilize the capabilities it doesn’t work. After much research & several phone calls to the app reps, it turns out the only device functioning with the this app system is the mirror (which we do not have, nor need or want). How can you be selling these expensive units without having them up & running with what they are being sold as being capable of doing?! The answer we are getting is to “wait, it will be coming out”, but with no knowledge or anticipated timeframe. I would say don’t buy this item until it’s fully functioning with the technology it promises! In the meantime, I will wait to hopefully hear back when it’s capable of connecting to the WiFi to work to its full potential. We chose the app over its competition due to being able to connect 6 items to function off of the one device (vs 2 or 4 from others). For now, my two words are “disappointed & waiting”.

Spoke with the app today. They admitted the DTV+ function does not work. I’m told the a this app module will be released in the 3rd quarter of 2019. At least they are admitting the problem. However many of use have spent a lot of unnecessary money trying to make this product work believing that the advertising video were accurate the app has finally release the the app connect module. It ties everything together. The price for the module was a bit high at ~$600. Currently only the app sells it. The setup is not straight forward but with a little time it can reasonably be done. Lights, shower, speakers, and tub are setup. I have not quite worked out how to command Alexa to play music through the system yet. Still working on that. Currently music is played through my phone. What you must assess is are you willing to spend another $600 considering all the money you’ve spent so far. If the answer is yes then enjoy. I do 😀

This app doesn’t complete the connection needed to the Alexa enabled mirror. It errors every time saying the app can’t connect to the WiFi.. the design of the software conflicts with itself.. its looking to connect to the app servers while still connected to the mirror’s WIFI that then causes the app to fail.. this is software app development 101 and the app need to get a simple coding fix to their app so it can work. the app Customer Service will only act like you’re the problem when in fact it’s their app and software people are absolutely inept. This app needs a serious fix and perhaps a new software manager at the app who knows how to make a working app.
