What is Gasoapp? Gasoapp is the official application of the Regulatory Energy Commission (CRE) that allows you to locate the nearest and/or cheapest gas station based on your location and the type of fuel your vehicle uses in Mexico. It provides information on products and prices of gas stations authorized by the CRE, allows you to evaluate the service of the gas station, and find the nearest route to the selected gas station.

Software Features and Description

1. Gasoapp es la aplicación oficial de la La Comisión Reguladora de Energía (CRE), que te permite localizar la gasolinera más cercana y/o más barata a partir de tu ubicación y conforme al combustible de tu vehículo dentro de la República Mexicana.

2. Gasoapp es la aplicación que te permitirá ubicar a nivel nacional la gasolinera más cercana, más barata o ambas, de acuerdo a tu ubicación en ese momento, tipo de combustible de tu preferencia y conforme a un radio de kilómetros de búsqueda que tu decidas.

3. Con Gasoapp puedes encontrar la ruta más cercana a la gasolinera que hayas seleccionado en la aplicación, así mismo, en caso de que detectes que los precios de la gasolinera no corresponden a los que marca la aplicación, podrás mandar un reporte a la CRE.

4. • Gasoapp, permite abrir la aplicación de tráfico y navegación predeterminada en el celular, para que guíe al usuario hasta la gasolinera seleccionada.

5. Cuenta con información de los productos y precios de las gasolineras permisionadas por la CRE, podrás evaluar el servicio de la gasolinera y visualizar las calificaciones que le han otorgado.

6. • Gasoapp, muestra el detalle de la gasolinera seleccionada.

7. • Gasoapp, ofrece la opción de poder evaluar las gasolineras mediante una escala de 5 estrellas.

8. • Gasoapp, guardar la última configuración seleccionada de la última búsqueda.

9. • Gasoapp, permite enviar un reporte ciudadano a la CRE.

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Gasoapp"
The search will reveal the Gasoapp app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Gasoapp is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Gasoapp.
Now enjoy Gasoapp on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Gasoapp,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Gasoapp" » then Click "Install".
- Gasoapp will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Gasoapp functions

- Locates the nearest and/or cheapest gas station based on your location and the type of fuel your vehicle uses in Mexico

- Provides information on products and prices of gas stations authorized by the CRE

- Allows you to evaluate the service of the gas station using a 5-star rating system

- Finds the nearest route to the selected gas station

- Allows you to send a citizen report to the CRE if the gas station prices do not match the ones displayed in the app

- Saves the last selected configuration of the last search

- Shows the details of the selected gas station

- Allows you to open the default traffic and navigation app on your phone to guide you to the selected gas station.

✔ Pros:

- Useful app for finding information about gas stations

- Good idea for promoting citizen participation

☹ Cons:

- Lack of user-configurable options, such as more filters for prices and ratings

- Information presentation could be improved, such as displaying data in a table with sorting options

- App is too bureaucratic, requiring multiple taps to access station information

- Some users report that the app does not work.

Muy buena idea, pero hacen falta más opciones configurables por el usuario. Por ejemplo, más filtros por precios, por calificación y similares. También presentar la información en tabla con opciones para ordenar por precios o por calificación. Sobre todo, es muy burocrático el tener que señalar una estación y se requiere otro toque para ver su información. Basta con un toque y que aparezca la información de inmediato. Finalmente lo que más nos interesa es ver los precios al momento.
Excelente concepto.
