Software Features and Description

1. It uses ICMP ping packets to monitor an internet host and tracks the last round trip delay, average delay, and packet loss percentage.

2. PingStatus is a menu bar app that will monitor the health of your internet connection and provide notification when health has changed.

3. I created PingStatus to help when commuting on the train and attempting to do work on a cellular data connection.

4. You can specify your prefered internet host to monitor as well as the ping interval.

5. PingStatus runs in an App SandBox so it doesn't get access to your data.

6. No data or analytics collected.

Install PingStatus app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "PingStatus"
The search will reveal the PingStatus app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once PingStatus is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including PingStatus.
Now enjoy PingStatus on PC.
