Install Kiwi3 OTA app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Kiwi3 OTA"
The search will reveal the Kiwi3 OTA app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Kiwi3 OTA is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Kiwi3 OTA.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Kiwi3 OTA,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Kiwi3 OTA" » then Click "Install".
- Kiwi3 OTA will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Worked Great

This update worked great on my iOS iPad. No instructions on how to do it, but pretty intuitive. PLX3 must be plugged in to car’s OBD port for power and Bluetooth conx established on your iPad, iPhone, whatever. When connected, the name of the Plx unit shows. Select it and run the update. It will probably be helpful to be in range of your/a WiFi conx. After the update, I had to turn off the Bluetooth conx and back on to see the new firmware version. Since I had a check engIne light, I tried the Kiwi App with the skimpy 1 hr trial. Running the engine and performing a scan returned a couple of codes and took me to a website which explained them. Since they were minor, I wanted to clear them which required buying the Basic license for $10. Cheaper than going to a shop for sure! All in all, I’m very satisfied and highly recommend the software.

I tried updating my the app and it keeps telling me it has timed out. The reason I tried updating is because my the app stopped connecting and it does not show up on Bluetooth list of connected devices.

I downloaded and updated firmware and now cannot connect to my kiwi. Do not use!
