Install QODE app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using QODE on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "QODE"
The search will reveal the QODE app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once QODE is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including QODE.
Now enjoy QODE on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native QODE Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use QODE,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "QODE" » then Click "Install".
- QODE will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Not very useful

The keyboard is awesome and works great. No problems there. There is no real reason to have an app with it. I don't type in multiple languages, and I don't really care about firmware updates. I can get the battery indicator using the Batteries widget built in to iOS. The shortcut keys are just not very good. The app must always run in the background to use them, which means every time I open my iPad I have to open the app again. It's just annoying. The shortcut keys can't open Google Classroom properly either, one of the main reasons I wanted them in the first place. They just ask for an account to use, and then it sits there with the Classroom logo doing absolutely nothing. Also, it only allows you to create shortcuts for certain recognized apps rather than any app on your iPad. Why can't they let you have a shortcut for whatever you want? All in all, there is no real reason to get this app. Just use the keyboard.
Now: finally works!

*** Update another year later: they finally made the app work with IOS10, and so the firmware can now be updated. Sure took a while, but now the app is useful again! ***** *** Update several months and one major IOS version later ***** Still won't work now w/ IOS10. What a crap support. This was the last Belkin product (in a line of many) I bought. Months into iOS versions past 9.0, the app can't support them - there even is a firmware upgrade for the keyboard, but it can't be installed on 9.1+. Ridiculous, at this point! Get to it, Belkin! Worth zero stars if that were an option.

I bought my first one in 2015, I’m only replacing because the cover has worn out due to use with a lot of oils on my hands. I love the fact that you can flip the iPad and use it in portrait mode. The old keyboard still works, just the case looks horrible. I’m traveling a lot now so I don’t want such a ratty looking case. I’m taking off one star so because the case materials should be better. The software works fine.

This keyboard is great. Have had no problems with it. Had a warranty issue and it was completely replaced. Very pleased!!
