Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Midea Air"

In my first review I stated that I wasn’t satisfied due to the App not allowing me to register therefore not being able to use the app which is the MAIN reason I bought this air conditioner in particular. After not having my ac in the window since last spring/summer, I tried to use the app and VOILA! I was able to register and control my ac using the app! The Air conditioner itself is a bit loud but I’m ok with that due to the fact that it cools my room quite well. I’m giving it 4 stars due as opposed to my original 2, because the app now works however I don’t think anything is worth 5 stars 🤷🏽‍♂️
Works well, convenient

My only complaint is that it makes you agree to the user agreement EVERY TIME YOU OPEN THE APP. That’s annoying, but it only takes a few seconds. The app works well to control our window A/C unit. I love the information and controls. I don’t have this as part of a smart home or anything, so I don’t know how it interfaces with Google or Alexa. Just for using my phone to work the A/C, it’s great. I like it more than the remote that came with the unit.
Configuration fails every time!

I just bought two of these air conditioners for my apartment. The air conditioners work great, the app doesn’t work at all! I have tried several times to connect to my WiFi and each time it gets to 99% then says “Configuration Failed. Please retry after powering up again.” My WiFi works for my smart tv and Blu-Ray player so I doubt it’s the wifi itself. I have also tried disconnecting all other devices and it still won’t work. If you’re planning to control these air conditioners with the app, you can forget it! Don’t waste your time downloading it.
App not showing units

I have 4 split type AC units, 3 in house A and one in house B. Lately the app shows some devices offline when they are connected to power and router, some hours later the list changes by showing the previously offline units on line and vice versatility!!! I think the app changed something in the cloud and that messed it up. The app in the previous version never did that. I hope they fix it soon!
