What is RUMlogNG? RUMlogNG is a logging, QSL handling, and printing tool designed for short wave DXers. It can handle an unlimited number of logs and QSOs per log, and it supports LoTW and eQSL. It also provides statistics for paper or LoTW QSLs, and it can establish a dx-cluster connection via the internet or to your local skimmer. RUMlogNG can interface with your transceiver, and it supports Kenwood, Elecraft, Yaesu, and Icom transceivers. It also has import and export functions to allow exchange of log data to other logging tools.

Software Features and Description

1. Except the DXCC statistics, RUMlogNG tracks the most interesting areas of the world for the most important awards: IOTA islands, CQ zones, ITU zones, Grid Squares, US States, US Counties, German DOKs and more.

2. RUMlogNG can use the K7PT dx activity and QSL manager database to inform you about current dx activities and it can build and use an own manager and IOTA database, extracting the information from dx-cluster spots.

3. RUMlogNG is a HAM radio logging, QSL handling and printing tool, especially made for the short wave DXer, made by a DXer.

4. RUMlogNG keeps you up to date about worked, confirmed or missing DXCCs and provides you with country lists and detailed statistics.

5. RUMlogNG has import and export functions to allow exchange of log data to other logging tools.

6. RUMlogNG interacts with Clublog and keeps your online log synchronized in real time.

7. RUMlogNG will separate DX-spots and alert you ,new one' DXCC or IOTA spotted.

8. Using RUMlogNG you can print QSL label and manage your incoming paper QSLs.

9. RUMlogNG can interface with your transceiver, setting the main parameter on your TRX from the logbook or vice versa.

10. RUMlogNG can establish a dx-cluster connection via the internet or to your local skimmer.

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "RUMlogNG"
The search will reveal the RUMlogNG app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once RUMlogNG is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including RUMlogNG.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »

I’ve used all of the major OS X logbook programs and find that this app best suits my needs. Filled with tools for the DXer written by a DXer, this app is unmatched in capability. Excellent support for LoTW and ClubLog (along with EQSL) as well as paper QSLing with built-in label printing capability. The DX Cluster tools are unsurpassed on OS X; offering you exactly what you need to know and providing the option to separate “new fills” by Paper, LoTW or both. I can’t recommend this logbook strongly enough!
Have just begun exploring - very promising

I have just begun to really explore this program. So far, I am impressed. A few problems I have encountered have been easily overcome. I especially like the ability to upload contacts to LotW without any issues. Previous logging programs required multiple steps, whereas, this one can do it in a coulple of clicks! I will continue to use it and come back to update my review. The 4-stars are only due to lack of experience. If it continues to function, I will re-rate to five stars.
