Install Fokus app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Fokus on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Fokus"
- The search will reveal the Fokus app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Fokus is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Fokus.
- Now enjoy Fokus on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Fokus Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Fokus,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Fokus" » then Click "Install".
- Fokus will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Works pretty well - good if you want DIM vs. OFF

Looks good, seems light. I like that it DIMS the background instead of turning it off fully and allows me to change the dim level. I’ve used other apps that were all or nothing.
The only issue is no (apparent) support for my 2nd monitor; I’m mentioning it here because their web site doesn’t have any evident place to go for support.
Also, it loaded fine from here but the free trial from their site failed.
I’ll keep it and use it happily, but really want that 2nd monitor support or a disclosure in the description that it’s single-monitor app.
