1. - Simple edit of both recorded and imported audio tracks by trimming tracks.

2. Written with bird call and bird song identification using sonograms in mind, this app is useful both in the field and at home for displaying audio sonograms.

3. You can also record short tracks and import tracks for production of sonograms.

4. The app can also be used to visualize any short audio tracks with a sonogram.

5. As tracks are recorded they are timestamped and a geographic location is marked where location services are available.

6. Both recorded and imported tracks can be trimmed to remove unwanted parts of the track.

7. Tracks can be played from both sonogram and track review screens.

8. - Storage of multiple tracks for sonogram display, playing and editing.

9. Sonocord produces audio sonograms specifically aimed at birders.

10. Recordings of up to 10 seconds can be made, edited, played and sonogram displayed.

11. Arm feature allows pre-recording of 2 seconds prior to when the recording button is pressed.

Install Sonocord app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Sonocord on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Sonocord"
The search will reveal the Sonocord app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Sonocord is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Sonocord.
Now enjoy Sonocord on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Sonocord Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Sonocord,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Sonocord" » then Click "Install".
- Sonocord will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
