Install eCabs: Request a Ride app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using eCabs on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "eCabs"
The search will reveal the eCabs: Request a Ride app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once eCabs is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including eCabs.
Now enjoy eCabs on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use eCabs,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "eCabs" » then Click "Install".
- eCabs: Request a Ride will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This taxi service was a life-saver during our short stay in Malta, and we used it 6 or 7 times over the course of 3 days. The cars are large, comfortable Peugot sedans and the drivers are very professional. (And the fares are very competitive) When it worked as expected, it was great... you could see time until pick-up, see the drivers on the map, etc. However, there were a couple times when it simply didn’t update the information, and it’s pretty stressful to see “Expected wait 13 minutes” and look down 10 minutes later and it still says the same thing... It was rare that it happened, but it always seemed to happen when we were in a time crunch. If they fix that, this service is 5 stars for sure.

When in Malta - this app is terrible. You will end up calling the taxi company anyway and spent 10 minutes while they attempt to find your booking on their app. Definitely would use the other taxi App when in Malta - not this one seriously horrible!
