Install picatext app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using picatext on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "picatext"
The search will reveal the picatext app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once picatext is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including picatext.
Now enjoy picatext on PC.

Great way to capture text while screensharing!

Here at work we are frequently sharing screens over one of many clients (Slack, Zoom, Skype, whatever), and inevitably someone will bring up a website and start going through the contents. Before this app, I'd have to stop them, request that they copy the URL into the chat, then hope that they get back into the "flow" of things. Now, I capture that URL in the browser and copy it into the chat for everyone else with a quick and easy shortcut. All this, and I'm not tied to a monthly subscription for what should be just a tool in my toolbelt (I'll subscribe to apps that I work in 8 hours a day, but one I need once or twice a week, for 10 seconds at a time?) Well worth the money up front. Works great on Mojave, and doesn't interfere with any preset shortcuts (I assigned it to shift-command-0 so if Apple uses 6-9 I still won't have to change my muscle memory). Haven't seen any glitches in the recognized text so far!
An Eyelash Short of a Five Star Rating

This is a good, reliable image-to-text solution. Only two things prevented me from awarding it a 5-Star rating. The first was the fact that it doesn't allow you to add it to the menu for easier access. The two other apps which I sometimes use, do offer menu access. The second is the size of the typeface, for those of us not in our earlier twenties, the typeface is frustratingly small and difficult to read. Solve those two problems and I will come back and give this app a 5-star rating.
Can finally select text that isn’t “selectable”!

I was just reading a review on the App Store that referenced three other similar apps to the one I was reading about. I wanted to select and copy the names of the other three so I could quickly paste to search for them. No can do with the text on the App Store. So I invoked this app, “showed” it my screen, selected the area around the text I wanted to copy, and Voila!. this app immediately offered it up in selectable format, saving me the multiple steps and time it takes to open a little note app just to type in a few words so that I could remember them and do a copy&paste in a search bar. Works great!!
A huge productivity enhancement for me

Prior to this app, I was using the built in Mac screen capture, converting PNG to PDF, OCRing the result, and then copying and pasting the text. This is *by far* more efficient. I have only used the English OCR, and have found it does a decent (although not perfect) job. For what I do, I can live with some cleanup later, or exercise the spell checker. Overall, however, this app is an excellent value. Pros Very easy to use (set it up first by specifying a hotkey combo and whether you want the result to go to the clipboard) I downloaded it and immediately started using it with good result. Good to very good (English) OCR results. Reasonably priced Cons (really enhancements) As noted by other reviewers, I would like to be able to hide the app in the dock, as showing it provides no benefit. Bringing back the menubar interface would also be welcome. This is a great app, and I would recommend it to others.
