Install TypeMetal app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using TypeMetal on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "TypeMetal"
The search will reveal the TypeMetal app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once TypeMetal is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including TypeMetal.
Now enjoy TypeMetal on PC.

Very impressive 1.0!

The biggest challenge with evaluating this app is understanding what it is and what it isn't. It's not a web development IDE and it doesn't try to be. It's also not a tool that tries to shield you from understanding HTML. Rather, it's a tool for *writing* and *editing* HTML content cleanly and precisely without forcing you to resort to hand-coding. While you can use this app to pop out generic HTML pages, the critical thing is you can load *any* page of HTML from a more elaborate project and edit its content directly. As such, this app is nearly unique—the closest thing I know of to this app is the long-neglected (and now functionally obsolete) Design view of Adobe Dreamweaver. this app is objectively superior to Dreamweaver’s Design view in every imaginable way, although this app (currently) lacks some of the project-level support that Dreamweaver provides (however buggily). So, this is an exciting new app that may prove a godsend to some folks (including some of my clients), but it's something of a professional niche app. I demur with another reviewer on its price: the target price for an app like this should be much much higher; I worry about the developer’s ability to realize this product’s potential at its current price point.
Not working as expected

I regret jumping in and buying this without being able to try it first. It’s not what I expected (based on the description) and doesn’t work as a WYSIWYG WordPress editor. It does not handle inserting images intuitively and the instructions show an image editing dialog that doesn’t exist. It does not automatically scale the image, and it does not offer to resample. It says I’m supposed to be able to drag and drop an image, resample it, and tell it how I want it aligned. It does not. How do I get a refund?
Excellent HTML editor with lots of handy features.

I frequently have to type up pages and convert them to HTML. I like just focussing on the styled content and not being distracted by tags everywhere. Big time saver. It took a bit to get used to the key commands but now we're rocking. For me it's all about "copy as html" and then pasting into my code editor for server side stuff. List making is fast, element editing is nice, easy image placement. Not having to mark anything up is awesome.
