Download and install the AmbiHue app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using AmbiHue on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "AmbiHue"
The search will reveal the AmbiHue app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once AmbiHue is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including AmbiHue.
Now enjoy AmbiHue on PC.

To get AmbiHue on Windows 11, check if there's a native AmbiHue Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing AmbiHue:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "AmbiHue" » Click "Install" to install AmbiHue
- AmbiHue will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Still work great on my IOS6 devices . Fun apps ! Got all my 4 Hue lights on .
Works ok. Critical features missing

This app works just ok. However it misses two critical features. First of all it must be locked to a color temperature. For example it could be as simple as letting user chose modes like Day (5000K) Night (3200K) and TV (6500K). Without color temperature lock iOS camera API normalizes the color through auto white balance. Everything ends up generating gray color within the app. Second: must have zoom and reframe for use with TV. That is all.

This is a great little app on the rare occasion it works. Unfortunately, it regularly becomes unresponsive both at launch and while running .I have to delete and reinstall the app almost every time I want to use it. Update: since the release of the new version is app has become completely useless. It can now only display red and orange. It's awful. Do not waste your money on this.

Like another person has already said, the one remaining flaw is the ability to adjust the white balance. iOS normalizes the white balance causing everything to be more of a grey than an actual color. Come on guys, please add this option!... Update: THERE'S STILL NO FREAKIN UPDATE! App is virtually useless and will no longer even pair to my bridge! Come on guys, there is an SDK now how hard can it be?
