✔ Pros:
- Marko allows for real-time preview of Markdown files as they are being edited in a preferred text editor.
- The app supports Github-flavored Markdown.
- The app is easy to use and straightforward.
☹ Cons:
- Marko does not save the position of the previewed text after refreshing the preview on file update, which can be annoying if modifying frequently.
- The app does not allow for the use of a custom stylesheet for formatting.
- There is no option to create new files within the app, which requires an extra step to create a file in another program before previewing it in Marko. The preview may also not look correct for files created in other programs.

One thing is broken...
By SashkaB (Pcmac user)
One thing is broken - on file update, application refreshes preview and… dosn't save position. If text I'm pre-viewing is somewhere deep down or in the middle, it will take time to locate it again. This can be annoying if modifiying alot and frequiently.

Exactly what I wanted
By danmact (Pcmac user)
This does exactly what I want — I point this app at a Markdown file that I’m editing in my preferred text editor, and when I save changes, I switch over to this app to see an updated preview. And so far, it seems to work with all the Github-flavored Markdown I need it too. (I wouldn’t expect making links to issues or repos, of course.)

It's a good app

But would be nice to be able to use my own stylesheet for the formatting.

There’s no option to make new files? I should be able to use this to type something in markdown, then preview it, but it can only preview files written in other programs? That’s more steps than should be required. Even when I tried that, it didn’t look right. More complicated than a markup preview should be.
