Install GrainProc: granular synthesis app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using GrainProc on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "GrainProc"
- The search will reveal the GrainProc: granular synthesis app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once GrainProc is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including GrainProc.
- Now enjoy GrainProc on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native GrainProc Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use GrainProc,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "GrainProc" » then Click "Install".
- GrainProc: granular synthesis will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

A great app that needs a big red record button!

I love this app! Please add the ability to record/export with it. Please add this & it will be a 5 star app! If you have not tried this, and you dig experimental/ambient stuff, you owe it to yourself to give it a spin!

But, still cool. I’ve got a white block to the right of the blue page, and I’m not sure why it’s there. My install has never animated as it does in the demo videos. I’ve re-installed. No change.

Audiobus support just turned this into a 5-star app. Very useful.
This is a small gripe, and no offense meant, but the only issue I have is I think the font used in the app is a bit tacky. The color scheme could also be prettier...but these are cosmetic issues (and just my opinion). They don't take away from the fact that this app is now officially totally awesome.
