What is Paper? Paper is an app that allows users to paint and draw on their iPad or iPhone with the added dimension and richness of real paper textures. It is a simple and powerful tool that supports creative energy without getting in the way of inspiration. The app is available for both iPad and iPhone and there are no extra in-app charges for tools, colors, or paper styles.

Software Features and Description

1. On March 31st, 2010 we released an app named Litho Shop which began with the phrase, "No need for Paper!" Litho Shop is a mildly complex app with real paper textures and design tools.

2. From quick sketches to note taking to inspiration, Paper is the simplest way to capture ideas and dreams, enhanced with the added dimension and richness of real paper textures.

3. Saves you Money! Paper runs on both iPad & iPhone and there's never an extra in-app charge for tools, colors, or paper styles like so many similar apps.

4. While working over many months, as is the norm, other apps with "Paper" in their name came and went.

5. By 2012 we began working on a pure, simple, inclusive app to be the polar opposite, we decided to give it the most basic of names, Paper.

6. We followed Apple's Rules, that is, we went into our Developer account and created the App "Paper".

7. The name Paper was assigned to us by Apple as NO ONE ELSE was using it.

8. A Developer can add extra words to an un-available name, or game the territory settings to give the illusion of apps of the same name, and even change the name of an older app and enjoy what looks like an earlier first use.

9. Well, there may still be others around, or maybe they've moved on with another name, either way, welcome to the 1st, and what should be the only, iOS Paper.

10. Paper would be the opposite of Litho Shop.

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Paper on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Paper"
The search will reveal the Paper app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Paper is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Paper.
Now enjoy Paper on PC.

Mine! Simply put... Have always been creative in a free form kinda way. But when I noticed a teenager using it while a rainstorm blew over to fly back home, I asked what's that you're doing. She showed me and I downloaded it and has been hooked for about 24 months. I've sold copies of my work and have an art exhibit in January at a local library. I don't think about where the end result I only connect to my inner ZinZin😀. So download this app and say,"Well hello there my ZIN master welcome to my heart!"

I paint on this app every morning! Like a little devotion, I look out the window and echo the colors and shapes. The possibilities seem nearly endless with regards to colors. The brush options are good. I like that I can undo my strokes. The brush tools don't always respond on the first tap, other than that, my new favorite way to relax.

This app is slow to respond to requests to change pen colors, tools and erase. Has crashed and freezes up at times. I'd like to see the ability to change the order of the this app. The last sheet I create is always the first one on the screen, I'd like the ability to move each sheet to the order I want. The full app this app is a better choice for more detailed needs. I bought this app for quick access and easy use. Updating this review. Still crashes, slow to respond. Frustrating to use. Get this app 53 and not this app

Let's you get your ideas on this app (recorded on iPad) for future reference. otherwise, my bright ideas go onto this app and I lose track of them. This tool let's you play with the overall design of the look you want. I have used it for a barrel composter, a under kitchen cabinet bread box with tambour door, and a cantilevered sub-irrigation garden box with useful results I can print.
