Software Features and Description

1. This is accomplished by using the iPhones built in video camera with an overlay of all the Dish Network residential satellites as dots in the sky.

2. The Dish Network satellites will show up as red dots as you move your iPhone around, allowing you to quickly and easily determine if there are any obstructions in the way.

3. The SAToolz Dish Network Satellite Finder app will quickly allow you to determine if any obstacles like trees or buildings are in the way before you attempt to setup your satellite dish.

4. The following Dish Network satellites are supported: 61.5°w, 72.7°w, 77°w, 110°w, 118.7°w, 119°w and 129°w.

5. This software allows you to see if satellite reception is plausible at your current location and is not intended to help align your dish.

6. It's easy to use SAToolz! Simply point your iPhone towards the southern sky and see on the live camera where the satellites are.

7. When using this application the iPhones internal compass is used to help locate satellites in the sky.

8. Any compass interference will cause the satellites to move sporadically.

9. It is extremely important that this software is used outdoors away from objects that can cause interference to the compass.

10. Please avoid using this software by any object that can cause magnetic interference.

11. You can then easily determine if there are any obstacles preventing you from receiving a satellite signal.

Install SAToolz for Dish Network app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use SAToolz,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "SAToolz" » then Click "Install".
- SAToolz for Dish Network will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Perfect for RV satellites!!

This app is perfect for what it's designed to do. If you need to find that perfect hole in the trees to point you dish through this app is all you need. Just point your phone south and walk around till you have a good view of the satellites.

Excellent product. A must for tailgate users. It's for line of site for placing tailgater clear of trees and buildings for setup of antenna. It's not for pointing a LNB antenna which takes a signal meter

Thought this would be a great app to help positioning our RV for Dish satellite coverage. Tried everything and couldn't ever get it to work properly. Total waste of money. Make sure before you buy, there are real reviews describing how it works. I'm using a 4S with the latest software. You have to lean the phone back to see satellite red dots, BUT if you rotate they rotate as well. No relative position - useless. There should be some way to get your money back.

Downloaded while camping and used it to place a Dish Network Tailgater antenna around some trees. Very easy to use... even in the dark!
