1. It's easy to use the Dish For My RV - Dish Network Satellite Finder! Simply point your iPhone towards the southern sky and see on the live camera where the satellites are.

2. This is accomplished by using the iPhones built in video camera with an overlay of all the Dish Network residential satellites as dots in the sky.

3. The Dish Network satellites will show up as red dots as you move your iPhone around, allowing you to quickly and easily determine if there are any obstructions in the way.

4. The Dish For My RV - Dish Network Satellite Finder app will quickly allow you to determine if any obstacles like trees or buildings are in the way before you attempt to setup your satellite dish.

5. The following Dish Network satellites are supported: 61.5°w, 72.7°w, 77°w, 110°w, 118.7°w, 119°w and 129°w.

6. This software allows you to see if satellite reception is plausible at your current location and is not intended to help align your dish.

7. When using this application the iPhones internal compass is used to help locate satellites in the sky.

8. Any compass interference will cause the satellites to move sporadically.

9. It is extremely important that this software is used outdoors away from objects that can cause interference to the compass.

10. Please avoid using this software by any object that can cause magnetic interference.

11. You can then easily determine if there are any obstacles preventing you from receiving a satellite signal.

Excellent app for traveling in our RV 😁

Camping in State Parks it is often very hit and miss trying to get tailgater to work with all the trees. Purchased the app on Thursday for this weekend in Georgia ........ and it turned out to be the best $4.99 I have ever spent !! 100% every time. I have tried other apps in the past and many show every satellite in the sky which i found incredibly confusing. This app shows JUST this app which was perfect for us. No hesitation recommending it 😊

I recently travelled to another state for work. Couldn’t get my tailgater to pick up any satellites even tho I had it pointed in what I thought was the right direction. Heard about this app and downloaded. Satellites were not where I expected, so after finding a good spot for my tailgater and moving it, going through setup, I now have all my channels!! I don’t have to watch the same dvds o Er and over again. I’m one happy girl!!

I read the reviews and seemed like this app has gotten better more recently. I rolled the dice, spent the $10 and gave it a try. I was camping in a state park with lots of trees. I used the app and found a “window “ between the trees to aim my this app Tailgater. It worked!!!! I’m using the app on an iPhone 7 Plus. Great product and easy to use.

I’ve had this app for a few years always worked great, then it stopped emailed Micheal he had a few ideas on how to fix it but it didn’t work....... then it dawned on me I put a new case on my phone that has a magnet on it..... compasses and magnets don’t work well together, removed case and boom dependable as always.
