  • Doesn’t work anymore

    By joedom (Pcmac user)

Looks like this app hasn’t been updated in awhile and that’s a real shame. It WAS the best PSK app for iPhone/iPad. Now, it just flat out doesn’t work on recent versions of iOS. I’ve had the app for years, but haven’t used it in awhile. Much to my disappointment, I opened it up today and it just doesn’t work. Just compared to the other PSK app, it appears this one needs to be updated to allow it to ask for permission to use the microphone (for audio input). This app doesn’t have a setting for it, the competing app (which frankly isn’t as good - but it works), does have that setting. Let’s hope the developer updates this app and I’ll be happy to give it a high rating. 73, KI4ASK
  • Works fine good deal!

    By N2146 (Pcmac user)

I just installed on my iPad and tried with my FT-817ND radio through an interface. No issues with connecting and I had a QSO right away. Nice add to my portable. The iPad is much easier to take with compared to a laptop that dies after a few hours of use! Great job and hope to see you programming again soon!
  • Audio tx issue with direct connect

    By Knowidea123 (Pcmac user)

This app has an audio TX issue with direct connect to certain interfaces. The RX works fine. I initially thought it was the interface but have confirmed other apps work just fine. Hoping the author corrects this quickly as this is an important issue for many users.
  • Great app!

    By KB3MNK (Pcmac user)

So far I’ve used this running on an iPad 2 connected to a Yaesu FT-817ND, connected with a KF5INZ Easy Digi interface. this app decodes BPSK-31 well. I’ve tried it acoustically coupled to the rig but the physical interface makes decoding and sending more accurate, in my experience. Nice features to have in future versions would be: —More macros to reduce the amount of typing required on a phone or tablet. —Larger send buffer that can hold more than 1 line of text. —QPSK-31 capability. —I would really like to see someone make an iOS app that can send and decode MT-63.
