Download and install the Louvre HD app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Louvre HD"
The search will reveal the Louvre HD app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Louvre HD is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Louvre HD.

I know I will probably never visit the the app (I hate crowds), and this feels as good as being there, by myself. I especially love the feature of being able to download very high resolution images of the ones I especially love. Bravo!

In 1991 I visited Paris with high hopes of seeing the artwork in the the app. My dreams were crushed because the workers were on strike and the museum was closed. Now instead of planning and paying for another trip, I can just see the artwork from my phone. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but far more reliable than French museum workers.
