  • I Use It Constantly

    By Paula_M (Pcmac user)

Works great using an iPad Air2 with iOS 10.2.1. I love listening to the app, and if you're gonna do that, you absolutely have to have a "TV Guide" handy to figure out what's on. This app really fills the bill. I love the "On Now" button... It really helps you to narrow down and figure out what you've found while DXing. Also great is the ability to search using multiple criteria. If you wanted to know what's on now in English (for example), you can! Also keep a log. Since I've gotten the app, database updates seem to happen at least several times a month... Much better than having to rummage through supplements like with printed guides (works offline too). Other DXers wonder how I solve their mystery finds so quickly... This is how. A wonderful app, and well worth the modest cost.
  • Excellent app for SWL'r

    By tomebe (Pcmac user)

I just started using this app and I really like it. Easy to use and understand, with the on now feature makes the app stations identifiable even though their non English speaking stations. Logging is super easy, just a push of a button with the ability to make comments and write signal strength reports. At any price this is a very nice SWL utility. Improvements or upgrades that I'd dream of would be a receiving station lat/Lon specific sort. As in "what stations maybe available to the east coast of North America ." Otherwise I can flip open my IPAD pro, sit it next to my listening post and enjoy what's left of the SWL bands. - WI6N
  • Great SWDX Tool!!

    By sponder53 (Pcmac user)

I've been using this app for years now (can't remember the exact date I first downloaded it). The best feature is its portability! I always have my iPhone with me, so just a few key clicks provides me with a list of SW stations that are currently broadcasting. I like the display format - easy to read columns, each entry hyperlinked to info about the station of interest. Easy to update, the station list provides almost instant access to schedules, target areas, broadcast languages, etc. Say goodbye to bulky 3-ring binders, clipboards loaded with station schedules that are most likely out-of-date, and manila file folders filled with hard-to-read scribbled notes! If only this app would stream the broadcast audio when you click on a station listing!! Well, one can dream, right? Are you a Kindle Fire user? There's a version of the app for your Kindle Fire, too! Happy, happy, happy!! Believe me, you will not regret downloading, installing, and using this app! 73 & Good DX! Steve WDX5FMD/N5WBI
  • Great aid and love the logging feature

    By rdj999 (Pcmac user)

Do not confuse the following with a criticism of the app. It's great for finding broadcasts on the increasingly sparse airwaves. "On the air" listings are surprisingly accurate. Is this data crowd-sourced or does it come only from published schedules? You can edit some fields in log entries. If you could change the frequency, you could synthesize logs for new stations. That one field reverts when the entry is saved, though. It would be nice to export logged entries e.g. via email if nothing else. This app is fine the way it is, though – "feature creep" could turn it into a monster, so maybe simple is best!
