  • Integrates Well with OmniFocus Pro

By John in SB (Pcmac user)

If you have OmniFocus Pro, you know that the app has a scheme to send actions to the OFP Inbox, aka the “No Context” folder, by using a dedicated OmniSync email address. Since Omnigroup doesn’t make available a menu bar app to do this without email, the shortcut is to use Quickmail to send these action item emails to OFP’s dedicated address. Set up the app to send in STMP, uncheck the “Clear To” box, type in the address and there is a dedicated menu bar app which will put action items in your OFP inbox. Quickmail can always be used for its intended purpose, but if you have a workflow that involves a lot of OFP entries that you don’t mind batch filing into more descriptive Contexts or Projects at less intense times, this is a simple, smooth and efficient way to do that.
  • i really like this little app

    By groukas (Pcmac user)

I can’t tell you how many times I want to send a quick email without disrupting the flow of whatever else I’m working on. This doesn’t support every bell and whistle, but it works well and is such a help when I’m focused and don’t want to have to switch to my mail app to send a quick message. I love it!
  • Needs Bcc

    By Mana2Burn (Pcmac user)

I bought this with the intention of using it for quick email. My problem is that I BCC myself on most mail that I send internally. As a result I have sent maybe 5 emails and I have had the product for quite some time now. I would use it to send most if not all of my mail if it had bcc support. I have emailed the developers but haven’t even received an acknowledgement that they received the e-mail. Seriously…bcc support is a no brainer...
  • Warning: won't run on Catalina

    By cheburashka (Pcmac user)

No idea why the app store gives no indication which apps are 32-bit and won't run on Catalina — and why users on Catalina are even shown these apps in the first place. Just paid for this (because my long-term favorite Mail Satellite, which is 64-bit, mysteriously won't run any more), only to discover once I tried to run it that it is 32-bit and won't work on Catalina.
