Install Camouflage app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Camouflage on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Camouflage"
The search will reveal the Camouflage app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Camouflage is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Camouflage.
Now enjoy Camouflage on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Camouflage,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Camouflage" » then Click "Install".
- Camouflage will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

One Feature Alone Is Worth It

In addition to hiding Desktop icons I especially value the ability to bring a specified Finder window (e.g. Downloads, Desktop, etc.) to the front simply by clicking anywhere on the Desktop. No need for menu or key commands to do that. A problem I was having following migrating files to a new Mac was addressed overnight via email by the developer.
Good but there is a bug!

The setting wont save my hot key anymore. It use to work but not anymore. It jitters when its on and it wont leave my top bar even when i click the deactivation in the app settings. FIX because i love this app! Once the bug is fixed i reccommend everyone to but it!
Still not working in Lion

Like one of the other reviewers, I also paid for this via the App Store after having the free version installed, after hearing elsewhere that doing so would make it work in Lion. Sadly that's not the case for me - it simply won't hide the desktop icons. I trashed it's preferences thinking that was the problem, but no change. I LOVE this app - I do training videos using Screenflow and it's great to have a clean desktop when doing so. It's pretty much a requirement for my work and now I have to do all these workarounds to keep the desktop clean. PLEASE look into this and provide a fix. I'm sure everyone would really appreciate it!
No Menu Icon

If I open the application from my applications folder or dock it begins to hide my desktop, but there isn’t a menu icon that I can access to change options, preferences, etc.
