What is ZDFmediathek? The ZDFmediathek app allows users to access live TV and TV shows from ZDF on their smartphones or tablets. Users can watch previously aired TV series and movies at a later time or watch their favorite team's game live on their mobile device. The app offers additional features such as direct access, an intuitive layout, the ability to save individual videos and TV shows, a reminder function, offline viewing, access to personal data from multiple devices, and the ability to play all content on a TV using Chromecast or AirPlay. The app also offers live TV with additional features and on-demand videos.

2. Ob du nun bereits ausgestrahlte TV-Serien und Filme zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt ansehen willst oder das Spiel deines Lieblingsvereins live auf dem Tablet verfolgen möchtest: Die Mediathek macht es möglich und überträgt das gewünschte Programm schnell und ohne Ruckeln auf dein mobiles Endgerät.

3. Du bist großer Wintersportfan, wirst während des nächsten wichtigen Biathlon-Rennens aber gerade im Zug sitzen? Dank der ZDFmediathek kannst du den Kampf um die Podestplätze dennoch live verfolgen und verpasst keinen Fehlschuss und kein Überholmanöver.

8. So kannst du bei Live-Fußballspielen zwischen mehreren Kameraperspektiven wechseln oder auf Wiederholungen bestimmter Spielszenen sowie auf Statistiken zugreifen.

9. Mindestens für eine Woche nach Ausstrahlung sind die Filme oder Serien online verfügbar – viele Formate sogar noch länger.

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

ZDF EXCELLENT GERMAN TV!

I mean it too. ZDF has had the best in krimi series (Bella Block alone speaks to that!), films, comedy, talk & quizz shows, documentaries & the occasional classical concert. The actors are wonderful too. My only complaint is that because I live in France, I can't get some of your best documentary films, nor ZDF Live. Whereas, I can now, suddenly get ARD Live as well as video's to play & replay. So I have to wait to visit Germany, which I do for 2 long stays per year, at Christmas & during the summer. And I'm glad I do! Germany is a warm & open country, in general, & the people have a great sense of humour. What would a country be without that?

I am a little disappointed that so many programs in your selection programming can only be viewed in Germany. If I where in Germany I would not need your app as I could watch it on TV. Little Sad, best Regards, Christel D
Wished video would display reliably

Sometimes the display goes black while audio continues. Kind of buggy. :( Would be really nice if we could download the video for viewing offline or in an airplane. Even a 24 hour window to view content would be a really really nice enhancement. Thanks though for giving us Americans the chance to finally watch German TV.
