Software Features and Description

1. It lets you import QuickTimeVR files or Equi-rectangular panorama images onto your iDevice, (iPhone or iPad), through iTunes or Dropbox or email, and view them on your iDevice.

2. NOTE: The QuickTimeVR file format can store the panorama images in a variety of formats like Jpeg or Png.

3. It has various viewing modes, including alignment of the panorama with the iDevice, giving a really intuitive interface to the panoramic view.

4. If you are unsure which format is being used in the files you want to visualise, please send us a sample and we can test for compatibility prior to purchase.

5. -Qtvr file association, allowing opening of email or web-linked qtvr files.

6. QuickPano is a viewer for cubic and cylindrical panoramas, and now QuickTime Object files.

7. If you experience any problems or bugs in the app, please email us your device information, which iOS version you are running, and we will fix it asap.

8. If you wish, you can send us feedback directly, we reply to every email sent to us.

9. QuickPano supports the most commonly used formats, and we are endeavouring to support the less commonly used ones too.

10. Please note: "hotspots" are not currently supported.

Install QuickPano app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using QuickPano on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "QuickPano"
The search will reveal the QuickPano app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once QuickPano is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including QuickPano.
Now enjoy QuickPano on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use QuickPano,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "QuickPano" » then Click "Install".
- QuickPano will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Nice app for panoramas - new version seems to be incomplete

I used the last version and liked it. Today I downloaded the actual version update and it seems, there are functions missing.
A good start for a new app

Very excited about this app because I create virtual reality panoramas on vacations and the iPad cannot display them. The feature that ties into the compass adds a whole new dimension versus just viewing virtual reality panoramas on a desktop (or manual panning). For those of you who like Starwalk will love this app because you can view your own virtual reality panoramas the same way. Only gave this three stars because it seems like a beta and has some glitches. This is a very new app, so hopefully the developer will take feedback and fix the glitches. Here are my suggestions 1) Above all, please fix the app's stability. It crashes way too often. 2) For panoramas that are only 360 degrees and not 360x180 virtual realities, the field of view should be fixed so that the zenith/nadir are not visible (this can be fixed for viewing by adjusting some of the options, but an automatic feature would be nice). 3) An option like auto rotation would be nice so you could use your iPad as a picture frame that continuously pans. 4) E-mailing the panoramas to the iPad is a bit of a pain. It's also not convenient to import from the Photos app. Perhaps a special folder that you can download from your hard drive when you sync., especially considering how large some of thse files can be.

It took a few tries to get this thing working, but once I got my file loaded, it worked great. The gyro function is amazing, almost like looking around your pano world. I can't seem to get the files to transfer from iTunes to the app. Instead, I have to email myself the QTVR file and open it with quick pano. Not a huge deal, but for the money I paid, that process should be much smoother. Overall, it's a good app.

I have been in the software industry for over 25 years and this application works GREAT! It is straight forward and easy to use. Getting my files to the application was a snap (just open them from my email) how easy is that? When 2 enhancements were requested they were immediately implemented in the next update. Also the developer's ability to use my files for testing was unbelievably good. jd
