  • Good Quick Catalog

    By GGorska (Pcmac user)

I just downloaded this to catalog a set of books donated to my school. The ISBN auto lookup makes entering books easy. You can set preferences to default to ISBN so you just type in the number, hit Enter, and the book information comes up if found. Custom field are on the second data entry screen, and they can be labelled and added to the list view. Export is only to XML; I would like a CSV export or something to get it into Excel. It would also be cool if the there was a setting to export the images that come in with the ISBN lookup. Search feature works. No manual or documentation, but the app is easy to use if you just try things (like writing over the custom field labels, or hitting the Plus icon in the lower right corner to Save and Add.)
  • Great simple solution

    By Mechanifex (Pcmac user)

I really like this program for its ease of use, simple design, and customizabilitiy. Excellent options and custom tabs -- I just wish that the software would recognize articles in the title of a book when it sorts them alphabetically. That would be a great, simple update! Still, wonderful app for anyone with a book collection, much simpler and cheaper than Delicious Library, and much better than bargain options. I recommend it.
  • Keeping track

    By Reader Avid (Pcmac user)

I used another app to track my reading for years, but with Mountain Lion it ceased working and it is no longer supported. this app is very similar, easy to use and does what my previous app did and more. I wish it had a field showing the number of books read, to be read, and total. Also, since my old app only exported in tab delimited, not XML, it woud have saved a lot of time copying from the old app if this app imported tab delimited format. Also, great support if there is an issue with very prompt response. I’m very glad that it is now a 64 bit app so it will have a future given Apple’s MacOSX pending switch to only support 64 bit apps..
  • Simple and intuitive

    By slrscrabble (Pcmac user)

The application seems simple and intuitive; the look-up feature using ISBN did not fail in the 85 books entered since purchase an hour ago. Good value for the price.
