Software Features and Description

1. Tested on LabVIEW 8.6/2010 on Windows XP and Vista and on Mac with LabVIEW 2011.

2. You can also send Notifications to the user while the app is connected and running in the background.

3. You can't write LabVIEW code for iOS but you can use this app to control your VIs.

4. All that is needed is a small VI running in the background.

5. Control your Virtual Instruments from your iPhone/iPod/iPad.

6. Front Panels doesn't need to be visible.

Install VIremoteFree app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "VIremoteFree"
The search will reveal the VIremoteFree app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once VIremoteFree is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including VIremoteFree.
Now enjoy VIremoteFree on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use VIremoteFree,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "VIremoteFree" » then Click "Install".
- VIremoteFree will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
