  • One of my must-have-installed apps

    By hwend (Pcmac user)

This is one of my must-have-apps installed on any of my Mac’s. I have been using it for years and it does exactly what I need it to do. It doesn’t replace the calendar app but having all my daily appointments visible on my desktop is just so helpful for me. A quick four-finger gesture on the trackpad and voila, I have my day right in front of me without having to open any calendar app. An unobtrusive way to always have my daily appointments right on my desktop nicely blended in on the left-hand side without taking up too much Desktop space and if I make any changes to my calendar on my Mac or iPhone it immediately gets reflected in this app. This always gives me a great overview of my day right in front of me. Allowing to configure which calendar to visualize is super helpful, especially when using this app on my work laptop. Was super easy to setup and I never had any issues with it and I have been using this app for years.
  • What I was looking for

    By Bakari C (Pcmac user)

I was a little hesitant, based on the negative reviews, to purchase this application. But so far it is pretty much what I was looking for. I have it parked on my second monitor, where it stays faded and in the background of other apps. I have the hotkey for the calendar mapped to a Dragon Dictate voice command, so I can simply call it up when I need to view it above other opened windows. I also have it linked to a Keyboard Maestro macro so that when my computer is awakened, this calendar comes to forefront after 10 seconds. I like how it syncs with iCloud calendar, and allows for adding events from the menubar. Though I do say to-do manager, it’s very useful to get a overview of scheduled events without having to open the regular calendar app on my to-do manager. I’m glad it’s still working. I’m sure the developers could much more with it, but for now it seems to be working okay.
  • Helped me with my Time Management!

    By denaxnguyen (Pcmac user)

I am not sure how many college students use this, but I love being organized. I finally realized my agenda was not working when I missed an interview. So I decided to look up some great calendar apps for the computer and came across this one. There were many negative reviews, but I decided to take the chance. This is LITERALLY life changing. I have the Google Calender app on my phone, so when I schedule an appointment or plan I enter it immediately onto Google Calendar and it syncs to this app on my macbook. For people who may be having trouble opening the system preferences for the app, there’s a calender symbol near the clock on the right, top hand side of the computer. For $10, I am sure I would have been hesitate to get this, but I had a giftcard. :) Either way it has been a very good investment. Hope the company only continues to improve the app.
  • Definitely not worth $10

    By zandergraphics (Pcmac user)

Got this looking for a replacement for Fantastical, which had been crashing on me when I tried to edit or add events. This app is pretty limited in what it can do and totally unsuited for what I need. You can’t interact with your events or reminders. It’s nice to have my “to do” list on my calendar but if I have to go into the Reminders app to mark them completed anyway then it kind of defeats the purpose. The ability to add events and reminders is pretty limited. For instance, in Fantastical I can type something like “Do Something every Tuesday 11am” and it will create a recurring event on Tuesdays at 11am called “Do Something”. this app doesn’t pick up on any of these sorts of things. If I entered the same text into this app it doesn’t know what day or time I want and just uses all of that text as the event title and I still have to set the day and time manually and if I want it to be recurring I have to edit it in another app to specify that. It also doesn’t pull any of my delegated calendars from work. Basically, the only way to access this calendar is by binding it to a key. You can’t put it in the dock so the only options appear to be to bind it to a key or to go into the menu bar item and select bring to front, but either way if you try to interact with the calendar at all it closes itself. I like the design, but functionally it’s pretty limited, especially for $10.
