To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

Ok, just as good as earlier versions. Running on various iPhone versions, and 3 versions of iPad and very nice. Simple to setup, and easy to navigate and perform tasks.
Will not login

I'd love to use this software, but when I go to login, it crashes every time. Even reinstalled three times, and still crashes when I connect. I'd love to run a local web server, not just for filesharing, but to have a local copy of my website on my iPad, so even if I'm lacking a net connection, I can still show it off.
Just can't get it working

I get stuck at the the app.net login page - when it says "select a device" you can't select anything, and you can't do anything else without selecting it. I tried from safari mac, safari mobile, firefox mac, and ie8. I tried to register first the iPad and then I tried to add my iPhone. When I tried to add it to the the app.net account it said it could not be authorized. So I created a new account just for the iPhone and all of the same behavior occurred. I connected them with the bump function, which worked OK, but since I haven't been able to upload any files it doesn't matter. The online help isn't much help. And the translation makes it hard to figure out if you're reading anything applicable; they really need a native English-speaker to update the strings, and the site. When you change settings like public file sharing it tells you to restart. It's not specific about wether to restart the app (difficult in iOS 4.2) or restart the whole iPad (tedious). It should just restart the app and warn the user. I haven't figured out how to use this as a web server except for the hosting via the app.net. Connecting to localhost from the ipad itself doesn't find the host, and I can't connect to the ip address reported using checkmyip.com. I was hoping to use the app to host some local html5 pages for offline browsing but I'm starting to think I'm out of luck. serversmanusb looks interesting but I can't find anything about it in English and it doesn't seem to do anything. I'd like this app to support native iOS 4.2 file sharing. Native english documentation, strings and Web site QA testing would all be helpful. This app could occupy a unique niche if they could just get it together.
