Software Features and Description

1. Once FRITZ!App Fon has been started, it automatically runs in the background, making it easy to take incoming calls while other apps are running, or even during standby operation.

2. Once FRITZ!App Fon has been started, you can make calls with your iPhone, iPod or iPad directly over your FRITZ!Box, just like with a cordless handset.

3. To make an outgoing call, open FRITZ!App Fon and dial the desired telephone number via the telephone book.

4. FRITZ!App Fon connects with your FRITZ!Box via WLAN so that you can use your telephone at home via the fixed-line network and the Internet.

5. To listen to new messages on the FRITZ!Box answering machine, press and hold down the "1" key.

6. Incoming calls are displayed automatically.

Install FRITZ!App Fon app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "FRITZ!App Fon"
The search will reveal the FRITZ!App Fon app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once FRITZ!App Fon is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including FRITZ!App Fon.
Now enjoy FRITZ!App Fon on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use FRITZ!App Fon,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "FRITZ!App Fon" » then Click "Install".
- FRITZ!App Fon will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- Allows users to choose which VOIP account to use for outgoing calls

- Has been updated to fix previous issues

- Collects detailed call information for users who want it

☹ Cons:

- Does not have a feature for background VOIP on iOS4

- No English version available

- Can be prone to crashing

- Default call information collection violates GDPR norms and buried option to turn it off

This app collects by default all possible information. The option to turn it off is buried deep inside in menus. This clearly violates all GDPR normatives that oblige you first to ask my permission for information collection.

Thank you AVM! can you please ad a way to allow the user to choose which VOIP account is used for out going calls( on a per call basis) also please make an English version.

Thanks for fixing/updating the last broken version! Now we need background VOIP for iOS4 and can you please add a way to delete entries from the call list? Re "call list".... Why can't you import the call list from FRITZ!Box? It would be SOOO awesome to come home and be able to check for missed calls using the FRITZ!App instead of logging into the web interface.... Thanks again & Cheers!
