Jezzball…not Qix
By iShubes (Pcmac user)
If you're looking for a game similar to Qix (the old arcade game by Taito that was eventually ported to GameBoy), you'll have to keep looking. This isn't it. I thought it was, but discovered right away that this is much more akin to the old Windows 3.1 game, Jezzball. Fun in its own right, yes; but don't let the name fool you. There aren't multiple speeds on this game (remember, you would score higher in Qix if you filled in space using the slower speed, but it was riskier); there's only one speed. As you level up, the number of randomly floating balls increases…again, just like Jezzball. You can sometimes "trap" them, but more often, when you box in one of the floating balls, it reappears in another part of the screen. The game is really simple, but so much like Jezzball—and so UNLIKE Qix—that I lost interest after just a couple days. It's not "un-fun"; just not what I was looking for. Loved playing Qix on my GameBoy, and this isn't a replacement, sadly. 👎🏼

Addicting
By Main Source (Pcmac user)
this app is a fun game that may be perfect for OCD people like me who love the clean geometry of a game of straight lines. My only quibble is the number of glitches that stop the game from working because after a freeze. No explanation, no way to escape, no continuation, a freeze that requires a force quit and start over. Otherwise....very addicting and fun.

Worked fine before last apple update
By granberry's music (Pcmac user)
Since last update by apple, when the player is to move from one level to the next, it jumps too soon....without completing the last levels info. This happened on my ipad and now a few days later on my iPhone. Now i have deleted the app on my ipad...and when I activated again, i was asked to pay for ad-free again. Before all of this I would have given 4 stars, no very unhappy so only 3. Good game really, i used to play the old coin op QIX version. FYI I HAVE DELETED BOTH THIS ONE AND THE CHALLENGE ONE! Apparently you have not been able to fix the problem in over a month now and it is not enjoyable anymore. I deleted once already and when I tried to reinstall I was being charged again. it was a fun game, but it has been ruined. What is the problem?

Bix is Great!
By tacomanfromtacoland (Pcmac user)
I always loved the game Qix and this is a great take on that old game. It isn't all that hard, which is fine because there are enough really difficult games out there. When this app needs a jolt, I just make up things to do ... like, making the lines as close as possible, or making a maze, or making tiny stair steps to make the ball bounce as it follows the line. Only boring people get bored, right?! It's a solid, well-made, reliable game. Well played, this app.
