If you want to install and use the Fortnite app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Fortnite in the search bar and press Search. Click on Fortnite application icon. A window of Fortnite on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use this app for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

  • BEST GAME BUT ONE THING FOR MOBILE PLAYERS

I started out playing mobile because my xbox isn’t compatible with Fortnite (I eventually got it on PC though). I have found that I’m better on Mobile than PC. (highest kills on mobile is 18 while PC is only 8). Therefore, I really wish mobile had stats. There are some really good and professional mobile players and I think they would want stats as well. I can screenshot my wins, but I want to see the overall percentages and numbers from all games. This way people can see not all mobile players are trash. - Overall, this is one of my favorite games ever. This is the only game I’ve had on my phone for more than a month and haven’t gotten tired of or deleted it. Love that older players don’t get unfair advantages, you don’t have to pay to unlock anything for an advantage, and I think this has worked well to keep new players from quitting. Also the battle pass is amazing because you only have to pay $10 to unlock that season and the rest (if you don’t spend the 1000 vBucks the pass gives you). ONE MORE THING: I love the challenges you can complete to unlock new emotes or accessories (Fortnitemares, Lil’ Kev, Fortnite’s Birthday, etc). It keeps everyone playing and you don’t get bored. In conclusion, Epic Games has done a great job keeping players interested in the game by changing things up constantly and making it fair for all players. (just please add mobile stats).

I love this game! It is just so well made, and although the graphics can be better, it is awesome. And now you wonder why four stars: here’s why. Once I jump out of the battle bus, it quits the app. Completely. I have no clue if I got banned or my internet connection or something, but that is what happens once in a while, even after a couple updates. Also, I would love to get stats for mobile players. I want to see how many wins I have, because when someone asks me, “How many wins do you have this season?” I estimate roughly between 20-40 wins, because I have no clue. Now, for the people that think that mobile is bad, it isn’t. Most video games that go viral (PubG and Minecraft? Anyone?) don’t come out on phone, which means they have to alter what they had before so it can work on phones. And, Fortnite did such a good job because it allows you to play with your friends, even if they are on a different platform, which is why I gotta love this game, other than the fun concept, the continuous updates to make the game better, and even just the fact that I can sign in on my mobile account eventually on a DIFFERENT PLATFORM! Epic, I appreciate you, although you get me in trouble for being late sometimes (but that could be on me. Lol) But Epic Games, if you have a guess on what is going on about Fortnite closing a lot after I get in the game itself, please let me know. I would love to keep playing the game loads. Thank you for this!

I think when epic games was making this game (and still now with there updates) they were on a mission on making the best Battle Royale the world has ever seen! When I first heard of fortnite I thought that I wouldn’t be into it at all since I didn’t like shooter games. I never got into call of duty and games like that but when I played this game I instantly fell in love with it. It’s so fun!! Definitely my favorite multiplayer game ever! I used to like playing gta online but it ended up getting really grindy and the worst part about the multiplayer should be the best part which was the other players. I found myself playing it like a job rather than actually having fun! This game just produces fun!! It not pay to win like most shooters! You don’t have to rank up to be able to use certain guns! Not that bad of a learning curve! Don’t have to pay for maps or anything like that. The games free! You buy Save the World if you want to! You can buy cosmetics if you want too! I don’t know how anyone wouldn’t want to play this game. They update it pretty often too! The best part is everyone always starts with the same pickaxe (unless they have a different skin but that doesn’t affect gameplay) as everyone else. No one comes into the game with an advantage over anyone else. It’s pure choice and skill. You can’t win on just choice alone or just skill alone. Great game!!
  • Made fun of..... and awesome game

When Fortnite mobile came out I was like oh snap I have to get it. So when I got everything set up and got onto the game i was impressed. I started at season 3 and bought the battle pass at season 4 and 5 and season 6 (R.I.P loot lake). I have 22 solo wins, 30 dou wins, and like 15 squad wins. When I got fortnite on my phone and told my friends they made fun of me. They were like dude mobile players are trash. And then another one was like hey let’s do dous so I can wreck all they mobile players on my console (cross platform play). I was impressed with the graphics and the building. The sniping and the controls. But one thing I hate is getting melted by a person. So I had a blue pump coming out of greasy full health and shield. Then I see a person. I shoot my AR and hit him 1 for 26 damage. He rushes me he has a compact and a pump. I shoot him in the head with pump and only does 17 damage and I was really close to him. The other guy misses his shots then pulls out is compact and hits me in the head for 54 damage. I start yelling. Then takes out his pump and then 1 shots me in the head and I die. I spectate the guy then he starts dancing then gets sniped then I started laughing (haha cocky idiot). But really fix the pumps please. But anyway it is a descent game. This is probably all mix up and out of order cause I type weird. Epic games probably won’t read this but if they do....... I am better than Ninja.
