Abysmal App, Terrible Customer Service
By Buddy Bolden (Pcmac user)
I'm so thoroughly sick and tired of having to re-download all my videos (hundreds of dollars worth of content) every time the people at Platform Purple update their buggy app, or scrap it entirely in favor of a new one that they claim will (really and truly this time, just believe us!) correct all the problems. The only thing worse than trying to use their apps is contacting them for support. I honestly don't know whether the staffers are monumentally incompetent or just enjoy pretending to be in order to bait and mock their customers. In any case, if you have ANY OTHER way of accessing whatever content you're planning on using with this app (e.g., purchasing DVDs ), I urge you to pursue that option instead. Over the years, I've wasted countless hours and endured excruciating, health-damaging levels of stress and frustration trying to use the videos I've purchased through Platform Purple.

Disaster
By RLight7 (Pcmac user)
This App is a colossal disaster. Hudson Music content is great and I can’t wait for them to drop this thing. If it were not for the content, this thing would not exist. Here is what I have experienced. You will download a video and get on the plane. Somewhere/ somehow you are logged off and now cannot retrieve the download without logging in. When you download a video it will be playable for a while then disappear from the player. It will sit in your memory. You will discover after a while of using this thing that you have a ton of downloaded videos (sitting in memory) but the player doesn’t seem to know they are stored. There is no obvious interface to the files. I gave up looking for them and deleted the app then reinstalled. That erased the mystery content. Hudson Music, please find another way to distribute your content. Thing thing is appalling.

Totally not user friendly. Just stick with the online course.
By pippilangstrumph99 (Pcmac user)
Online, you can choose a track. On the app, the entire book is just one, 55-minute file and you can’t search for a specific track without rewinding and memorizing the exact time that each thing starts.

Thank You!
By Mikes jello (Pcmac user)
Thank you for updating. Now I can have all my wonderful guitar instruction videos on my device again. I do wish I could open pdf’s in other apps, but it’s great to have this new app working great and downloading so much better than the other one.
