Install Lightdogs: Unplug & Focus app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Lightdogs on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Lightdogs"
The search will reveal the Lightdogs: Unplug & Focus app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Lightdogs is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Lightdogs.
Now enjoy Lightdogs on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Lightdogs,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Lightdogs" » then Click "Install".
- Lightdogs: Unplug & Focus will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Dogs + Less Phone = Heck yeah

i’m gonna be completely honest, at first i wasn’t going to download this app, and the only thing that got me to was the dogs. but i got this as an ad for my instagram, which i use way too often, so why not! i like it, but my only grievance with it is that i need to have my phone on for it. that kinda kills my phone battery which is one of the reasons i want to reduce screen time anyways. so if there would be a way for this app to function where if i close the app but don’t use any other apps and i still can get joules, that would give this app 5 stars. other than that, i’m loving the app so far! Edit: it turns out i was using it wrong! i have a habit of turning off my phone by keeping them open but just going to home screen, oops, haha. while there is still a glitch with your phone turned off, as long as you have notifications you’ll be able to tell when the glitch is happening! five stars, can’t wait for more :)
They Won’t Fix a Known Bug!

I wanted so badly to give this app 5 stars. The idea is genius, the implementation is cute, and I love the app. However, on my iPhone 6, the Generate sessions fail for often than not, and when I reported the bug, I was told, and I now quote the email... “Sorry to hear about this issue. It’s a bug that seems to happen on iPhone 6’s. Unfortunately, our team has started working on a new app and are no longer supporting this app, so the bug is unlikely to be fixed. One way to avoid the frustration though is to turn on notifications if you haven’t already. When the app mistakenly thinks you’ve left (rather than just locked it), it should send you a notification warning you that your session will fail. Then you can unlock and relock before the session fails. Sorry for the frustration. I hope this app is useful for you regardless!” So if I got this right: they’ll sell the app, but not fix a known bug. Nice.
PLEASE change the sleep settings!

I love this app, however, I cannot progress without touching my phone every ten minutes. My phone turns off after ten minutes, and I don’t want to change this setting as it proved useful in my every day life. My phone turned off at 1hr 57mins and lost me all the money for the two hours mark. I did spend 2 hours off my phone, but it didn’t count because my phone naturally went to sleep. it’s extremely frustrating to see that the time you spent didn’t count. The graphics are nice, the point of the application is sound, but this one aspect is killing the experience for me. I come back more frustrated than calm from my time away.
Very useful but can’t turn off phone

This focus timer is a very good way to stay motivated and be rewarded for it by unlocking cute dogs, but one of the major set backs is that you can’t turn off your phone, or the session fails, so you have to leave it turned on for the whole time the the battery gets eaten up pretty fast and the screen time on your phone shots up like crazy, even if you’re not using it... so I just think if you are able to turn your phone off, this app would be really improved, and it’s very helpful and motivating !
