What is Out Loud Companion?
Out Loud is a text-to-speech app that helps improve writing skills by reading back the text to the user. The app is available on iOS mobile devices, Chrome browser, and Alexa speaker. Out Loud offers a custom text editor and Chrome extension that allows users to select any phrase, sentence, paragraph, or page within a document and listen to their improvements, edit, and listen again. The app helps users find more typos, identify awkward phrasing, improve word choices, be more concise, and brainstorm new ideas. Out Loud offers various pay-as-you-go options for character purchases and unlimited synthetic character readback for free on iOS devices.
