Install OmniFocus 3 app on your Windows in 4 steps below:


  1. Download an Android emulator for PC:
    Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

  2. Install the emulator:
    On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

    • Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "OmniFocus 3"
    • The search will reveal the OmniFocus 3 app icon. Open, then click "Install".

  • A Must Have For Productivity!

    I recently upgraded from the app 2 to this app. At first I was a bit disappointed. Stylistically the app doesn’t look much different than the previous version until after a few days later when I realized that there is so much under the hood. In fact it is a brand new an incredibly powerful productivity tool that has maintained the same familiarity that its users have grown accustomed to, while adding tremendous amount of power and flexibility, so much so that I would say whether you follow GTD or any other system, or you want to make your own the app can support that. The note field is absolutely incredible. You can add an email and it would display as if you are viewing it in your email client. Tags are incredibly powerful and easy. Custom perspectives can organize your data however you like to view it . While you can customize the app to such degree that it no longer looks like when you first got it, it is incredibly powerful and useful right out of the box. Another feature that I absolutely love is the Review Perspective which is so unique to the app and not offered by any other productivity app on the market. I can keep writing but all of this is a testament to the OmniGroup for their ability and understanding of how to make us more productive while enjoying the process. Many, many Thanks!!!
  • learning curve is worth it

    This isn't your typical "to do list" app, though you can use it like one if you want. Think of the app as a master database of *everything* you need to do across all your areas of responsibility -- but with tools that help you work in managable chunks. And yes, that means if you want to make a to-do list you totally can, but you can also create meaningful contexts for your todos so you see (and do) them within the bigger picture. It takes a little time to get all this set up to your liking, but their onboarding tutorials and videos are very helpful. And once it is all running, it's so helpful to have all your tasks in one place instead of spread out among multiple apps, emails, notebooks etc. Having this trusted system certainly made my life run more smoothly once I had it set up. Oh, and if you're wondering about the strength of Omni's built-in sync service, I've been using it for years with consistently great results. Easily on par with the reliability of Dropbox or iCloud.
  • Loses the timeline view under forecasts

    Works just like the app 2 but with the benefit of multiple tags which were previously known as contexts. In the prior versions of the app, you could only have 1 context which was dictated by the GTD methoid. Now, the contexts have been changed to “tags” and a task can have more than one. One issue with this app is that In the app 2, events will appear as blocked off time in a schedule which visually helps me determine which other projects/tasks I can fit into my day. In this app, you lose this view and get your events as bullet points. I have reached out to the app support for help 13 days ago followed by a second email 5 days ago and they have not replied. I’d expect that for the price they ask for on this app, that they would reply back at least within 24-48 hours. Hopefully this catches their attention. Overall, if you have the app 2, I don’t see a need to upgrade now to 3.
  • Helps me stay organized, focused, and productive!

    I have been using the app Pro edition for about two years on my Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch. It is expensive but very worth it for how it helps me stay focused, organized, and productive. I had used Things in the past, but the features and customer support available through the app really set it apart and are so valuable and helpful if you are juggling multiple roles and projects. I love the way it syncs between platforms and the way the latest version allows me to give multiple tags to the same items. This makes a huge difference for me in sorting things to fit the way my life and work actually work! If I could change one thing about it, it would be having the data update on my iPhone and iPad in the background. As it is now, I need to open the app for things to update. So at times I am getting notifications for items on my phone after I have already changed their due dates on my laptop. This is a small quibble, however. I am very thankful for this app and how it helps me each day to do my job and live a life focused on my true priorities. Thank you, OmniGroup! (I also use OmniOutliner.)
