Lots of penitential please fine tune
By byronr1290 (Pcmac user)
This camera system is good, I use it to secure a 32 meter by 22 meter fence where I park my two John Deere excavators, the image is very good I can read car plates as I zoom in. This app has lots of potential. But lacks in speed for connecting and the main issue is when switching to HD from SD it takes forever , meanwhile I have another camera from the competition and their camera streams to my phone in had really fast ... please fine tune this issue. Now switching cameras they all have to reload again ??? Can’t they just load once and have them running in the back so that I may switch between cameras seamlessly. That would be perfect. Last issue I can’t play recorded feed. I go to time line and I go back just about an hour to try and nothing there. My ndvr is all setup perfectly I am a very tech savvy person which makes me a bit angry as to why I can’t play recorded events on my phone .. it’s the whole reason to have the app to live stream and to replay events.. now a days app performance is a selling point, I would highly recommend to fine tune the app more and more so that user experience is better to the point people recommend the user experience as well as the quality of the product.

Slow Notifications, No Smart Alerts and No Pad App!
By mjriley (Pcmac user)
This app has great potential but as it stands now, it’s not good at all. It is missing some basic functionality that security camera systems should have. The basic functionality missing includes:
* No smart alerts. I just get a message that activity was detected on a camera, I click the notification to open the app, and then have to click the play button to see the video. A very slow process when dealing with potential security concerns. the app needs to implement smart alerts so that a video is included with the alert so you can get a quick snapshot of the activity. Other security systems have this feature.
* No iPad app. Why no iPad app? Come on the app. Get with it.
* Can’t manage basic system settings in the app. I wanted to rename a camera and guess what, that’s right, you can’t do it in the app. Let me plug in a monitor and mouse to the box like it’s 1995 to rename a camera.
Also, notification, not smart remember, take 45 to 60 seconds to appear on my phone. WAY TO SLOW for a security system. By the time I’m notified, an intruder could have cleaned me out.
It’s really disappointing that a security company can’t include basic functionality in their app. I can’t recommend this solution to others as it just lacks basic features other systems have and puts users at risk with security concerns.

Led won’t turn off!!! Motion detection slow.
By Droobie-Doo (Pcmac user)
I have four of the newer LNW series active deterrent WiFi cameras and the image quality so far is excellent. Inside the house I want the led warning lights to stay OFF. When I select that option it just says “failed to save”. The led lights still come on every time it senses motion and even if I turn off the led light option on the main settings tab it still turns on.
Seems like a bug that needs to be updated in the firmware. Please fix ASAP.
Also, the motion detection itself is REALLY slow. The camera itself should activate and start recording instantly caching to the local SD card without relying on an acknowledgement from the cloud service. You need to update that ASAP as well.
Thanks.

Works fine
By Doctorul_doc (Pcmac user)
It works with my N841 system without problems. Hire some specialist if you can’t get it going. All features works except one thing: if I click on motion notification, I am able to see a 10 sec clip of trigger but if I go into system itself to see past triggers from mobile app, no clips are present. Other than that, it really smart up the way of surveillance. You can even set geofence area to receive notifications only when away. Light and siren works only on demand 2 way talk works in same time just like a phone, you don’t have to hold for talk like other devices.
