DOES NOT WORK
By Richard Gomes (Pcmac user)
Watched an ad with a lady running through different companies with a hand held device. I clicked the link and ordered the device. When I got the device and found it had to be paired with my iPhone while using an app, I went ahead and downloaded the app and paired to my iPhone. The app says it is paired. The device doesn’t work. I can’t press one button, speak into it, let go of that button, and then here the translation to the destination language. I can’t push the other button on the device to allow the other person to speak in, release the button, and hear the response in my language. All that happens when I push either of the buttons is for the device to declare: DISCONNECTED!
I set it up properly in the app. Don’t be duped by this foul product like I was. Don’t be duped by the ad that is rather prevalent on Facebook and Instagram that has the English lady running around through Asia with a working device. Save your money.

Pretty cool
By Lavata22 (Pcmac user)
I just got this today- connected to the app on my iPhone and connected to Bluetooth. I didn’t know it required an app or Bluetooth so I’m not a huge fan of that. BUT! So far the device is working and pretty cool! I can speak into it and translate into different languages! I can type and translate! I can take a photograph of text and translate! I like that when you speak into it- the text appears on the app- ensuring that the microphone and app picked up on what you said correctly. The app seems a little glitchy to be honest- but for the most part I think this product is really cool for studying language!

Need internet
By akummins2 (Pcmac user)
I don’t know how so many people are having problems- I paired and got it to work with my iPhone just fine. The app definitely works, and the translator definitely works. It was very easy and I had no difficulties.
However, the ad specifically said no internet connection was needed- but the translator literally will not work if the iPhone has no data connection. So that means this product is literally no better than Google Translate, which just works directly on your phone, making this product obsolete.

Works alike it should
By Deerleg (Pcmac user)
I had no problem downloading the app and hooking it up to my iPhone 8 it works as advertised. The translator even hooks up to my SUV and translates when I have a client that has a problem communicating with me in the vehicle. I love it I’m giving it five stars everybody I show it to wants one.
