  • Great for College

    By Zariya May (Pcmac user)

This app is great for college students. He helps me keep up with how much I'm studying and helps me do things in a timely manner. The time data also gives me an idea of how long it takes me to do things, so I can plan accordingly. My only criticism is that I which it had more time intervals between 60mins and 90mins.

This is the one. Been looking for an app like this for a while. Simple, quick, easy to use, and good vibes! The “be here now” is an excellent touch 🙂. Only thing I’d like to see is a desktop version! -would help workflow for those multi device users
  • It’s decent

I really like this app but I wish it had an option to lock my phone and not let me get on anything else because it takes nothing for me to just hit off of it without realizing. :/
  • Not very customizable

    By Hao Dam (Pcmac user)

It’s not a bad pomodoro app, I’m still planning on keeping this app as my only pomodoro app. I was using the other app with the little tree growing as it is much better in a lot of ways, and it’s free. I only downloaded this app because I needed a wide screen for my iPad because I use the keyboard so my iPad is turned landscape and not in the portrait style view. I was using that other app on my iPhone but since I study in my college’s library or other quiet places on campus, I couldn’t have a loud notification if any at all. That and I didn’t want to worry or wonder if the 25 mins is up yet or not as that takes productivity away. So I needed a app for my iPad so I can easily see the notification pop up without needing to look away from the screen. But since I use the attachable iPad keyboard, I also needed it to have the ability to be landscape view and not just portrait view. Which is what brought me to this app. I hate that you can’t customize it a lot, and the settings options are very limited. The biggest drawback for me is not being able to change the day of week start as it is a Sunday to Saturday week, meaning it tracks your productivity as day one on Sunday. Which for a student, I wished it would consider day one on Monday. And there isn’t time/date stamps in between your sessions. It only shows your total “In the app” time for the whole day divided by the number of sessions you had. As the other app shows the time in between sessions, to see if you actually took only a 5 min break or if it was longer. So if you don’t mind using a pomodoro app on your phone, or if you use your iPad in portrait view, I would recommend the other two apps that has over 20k in ratings over this one with just 35 ratings. They are much more enjoyable, more customizable, tracts your sessions with more data analysis. This app cost $4.99 but isn’t anywhere as advance as those other two. But like I said, I needed two specific functionality, so I will be using this one for now.
