Doesn’t turn off music

I go to sleep with music. Since last Apple update, it no longer works. I wake up at 2am and music still playing. When I open app, music turns off. Also. Why does this app keep adjusting the volume to a preset level??? There is no way to turn this OFF??? There is no need for it to adjust volume. Get rid of it or put an on/off switch on it. Developers, please fix!!
Does not work

I used this app a couple times to make sure it works, it does not (obviously) but I turned it on right before I started to relax in bed, now I’ve fallen asleep by now. When I wake up the next morning it’s still playing.
Music timer... not so much
