Install INDOT Mobile app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using INDOT on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "INDOT"
- The search will reveal the INDOT Mobile app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once INDOT is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including INDOT.
- Now enjoy INDOT on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use INDOT,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "INDOT" » then Click "Install".
- INDOT Mobile will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Great though but needs work

Great concept but needs some work. The Report a Concern section should be embedded in the app for ease of use and offer more simple selections to get the information where it needs to be examples: Traffic signal not functioning, rode damage, road hazard, etc. simple things that can provide other users with important travel information. The Waze app is a good example of what should be attempted however it would be nice if this app would monitor reports people place and dispatch crews as needed.

Cameras out

More cameras seem to be out than up and running. That’s not a fault of the app, but how about changing the color of the dot on the map to indicate the ones that are out (yellow?) from the ones that are working (green?).

To all of these people who hate this app, why do you? Do you want to be the one who programs all of this; putting all the traffic cameras to the data base so that the people who use this app can see the traffic? That’s just..... Wow..! Good
job this app on making this app!!

Great idea but needs work

Wow, I love this app!!!! I just loaded it about 30 minutes ago. I can be in Indiana and Seattle at the same time! The gps feature definitely needs work. I agree with everyone else. This app needs a lot of work. I am really surprised the DOT would put this out for public use as it can become very frustrating to use. I look forward to seeing improvements being made.
