Install AK Connect 2.0 app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using AK Connect 2.0 on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "AK Connect 2.0"
The search will reveal the AK Connect 2.0 app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once AK Connect 2.0 is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including AK Connect 2.0.
Now enjoy AK Connect 2.0 on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use AK Connect 2.0,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "AK Connect 2.0" » then Click "Install".
- AK Connect 2.0 will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- Conveniently control music from phone via WiFi or cellular hotspot

☹ Cons:

- Volume control not working for Norma SR15 when using AK Connect 2.0 app

- App locks up from time to time when pausing and playing music too much

Volume not working!!

I setup my Norma SR15 to be used with the app Connetct 2.0, however all works but not the volume, it won’t let me change it, stuck at same volume on iOS. Can’t change volume of Norma via the app. This is useless as I might as well stand next to Norma to operate it instead of using this remote app. Please fix it! Oh, and the funny thing is volume on the original the app Connect app works just fine!! As soon as it is fixed well update rating stars! Volume fixed! Few more suggestions: Get rid off loud volume warning (most people who are using this app are audiophiles and most likely know how to manage their volume control). It is a very annoying pop up every time I change volume. UI needs major overhaul.

This is a great app that allows me to conveniently control my music from my phone via WiFi or cellular hotspot, whether it’s connected to my stereo via balanced line out to rca’s, or just in my backpack or pocket where I can’t so easily reach it. As for sources, it allows me to stream Tidal, paid iTunes music, and more from my pc and other music servers, all while benefiting from the Kann’s great sound quality. The only con is that it locks up from time to time if I’m pausing and playing my music too much, but that may just be due to latency between my iPhone and Kann. PS ... I also can’t control the Kann’s volume via the app Connect any more since updating to iOS 12, so it would be great if Astell&Kernn updated the app.
