Download and install the jamstik Connect app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using jamstik Connect on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "jamstik Connect"
- The search will reveal the jamstik Connect app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once jamstik Connect is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including jamstik Connect.
- Now enjoy jamstik Connect on PC.
- Using jamstik Connect on Mac OS:

To get jamstik Connect on Windows 11, check if there's a native jamstik Connect Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing jamstik Connect:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "jamstik Connect" » Click "Install" to install jamstik Connect
- jamstik Connect will now be available on your windows start-menu.

It's just for connecting

This does have some simple guitar sounds like acoustic, 12 string and so on, but this app isn't meant to be the end all be all of the the app experience.
Admittedly the lack of a written manual packed with the the app itself is a bit irritating, but suggesting there's virtually no instruction manual at all is an exaggeration. You have to get the instructions online from the makers website.
Anyway the purpose of this app is to provide some lite samples for immediate gratification but is far from what the the app experience can be all about. That said this app does its job fine.
The real experience is using the app in the background while connecting with other apps and using the the app to control those.
Once that's discovered and experienced, you'll see this is some amazing technology.
I've already used the stik to control other apps loops, and a great many sounds. You could quite literally use the device and you compatible apps to do some pretty amazing and fun things.

This update brings new functionality that really makes the the app a versatile device.. Love the capo and assignable dpad controls.. New sounds are welcome, too!

If you're thinking about getting a the app take my advice & don't. I was an early backer for this project and literally nothing about it works as you'd expect. The only thing you're guaranteed to receive is a box of frustration. Tried selling mine within a week of receiving it.

terrible and abandoned

this company burned me by selling hardware fretboard and then not updating app or supporting it in favor of the new "+model". also there is no tapping mode unless you hold down then center button the whole time. Bad hardware and weak app. Pretty upset it doesnt work well and overall dissapointed.
