  • Every Touch Bar-enabled Mac should have this!!

    By blazingedge (Pcmac user)

Not including a way to launch apps directly from the Macbook Pro’s Touch bar was very shortsighted on Apple’s part, and might be one reason for all the criticism. Enter this the app. A fast, easy way to launch your favorite apps in only a second or two. Way faster than the Dock, Launchpad, or Spotlight! I use it constantly and I miss having it whenever I plug in an external keyboard and use my laptop as a desktop computer. It takes a while to set up, as you manually have to open each the app and then add it to this the app’s list. But once you’re done, it’s incredible. However, the default keyboard combination to launch this the app is ridiculous. I set mine to Command + Comma, two buttons that are right next to each other. Easy as pie. One bug is that any time you open an the app, all the other apps you have on your desktop disappear. They’re still running, you just have to click on their icon in the Dock to get them to appear again. I run almost everything in fullscreen mode, though, so it’s normally not a problem for me. Depends on your workflow. I recommend using as many apps as possible in fullscreen and swiping between them with your trackpad. Otherwise, it’s an awesome the app and every Macbook Pro (2016 or later) user should get this the app!
  • Useless

    By jaretburkett (Pcmac user)

I thought that it would always show the icons in the touch bar. that is not the case. it only shows the icons when you hit Cmd + alt + tab, or open the the app itself. I get that the developer may not be able to always show it, because of the apple nazis, but still. It makes the the app worthless. It is easier to just go to the the app itself. It is also not an the app launcher. It can only switch between apps.
