Install StitchBuddy app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using StitchBuddy on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "StitchBuddy"
The search will reveal the StitchBuddy app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once StitchBuddy is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including StitchBuddy.
Now enjoy StitchBuddy on PC.

Perfect solution to my dilemma

this app has been the perfect tool for me to use. I’m just getting started in the world of embroidery and, at this stage, have no need to create my own designs. What I do need, however, is a way to combine and/or modify existing designs. I also want to do that on a Mac. this app provides exactly what I need at a reasonable cost. Program support has been fantastic. I was attempting to combine 3 layers of appliqués and delete stitches that would be under one or more layers. What I was doing wasn’t working so I emailed the developer and got an almost immediate response. He asked for screen shots and the design file I was attempting to modify so I sent them then went to bed. When I got up this morning (Christmas Eve!) I found an email explaining why what I was attempting wasn’t working as well as the modified design file — a delightful early Christmas present. I highly recommend this app for combining and modifying existing embroidery designs. I felt comfortable with the GUI and was able to learn what I needed for the task at hand. Support from the developer could not be better. Thanks, Matthias and Fröhliche Weihnachten.

Oh the sad tale of the Apple girl who was also a crafty girl...I couldn't see any of my downloaded embroidery files in Finder and had no way to piece together and modify them. Then I found this app! It has saved me so many times from desperation, and Matthias has *always* been wonderfully responsive over the years. I'm so pleased to have found this program and highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to invest in a PC just to manipulate or design embroidery files! (I use Janome and have also purchased this software for my mother to use with her Brother machine.)

After much research, I decided to give Stich Buddy Pro a try. Paid the 50$. Turns out it won’t save anything over 30,000 stitches (which is NOT mentioned on this page ANYWHERE) and as such it is no longer of much use for me. Had I known it wouldn’t save anything of 30K I wouldn’t have purchased it. Very Disappointing. . . . . EDIT: Customer service was excellent from the designer. For that I bump up my rating to 4 stars,

after watching utube I realized I am still on the free version even though it says i did purchase it and the link is gray. I have deleted the ap from my Mac 4X and when go back to the store it does not say download it still says open and nothing has changed. I use Embrillance thumbnailer to view files but nothing will save to my usb stick…I have a Brother 770 and the company says to use any size GB not just the 2GB…I wanted something easy and not complicated and even though alot of women in my Facebook embroidery groups love this app for their Mac I just dont understand it…I have no idea where my files are..I thought they were filed under Brother PES but nothing happens when I drag them to my USB.
