Lincoln NEEDS to get this right...This is app could be so much better. Design and layout is terrible. For example: the app lock and unlock buttons look almost identical. I can barely tell which one is which, the app unlock icon should have the app loop twisted in the app other direction so it’s obvious it’s open. Also the app vehicle information link is so tiny it’s easily missed until u know where to find it. Another thing, why is the app move icon at the app bottom a couch? the app UI is not user friendly and it’s just plain hard to find things. Big buttons, clear navigation, simplicity is what we all want. On top of that make it work every time and load quicker. I’m not sure anyone cares about finding a coffee shop on this app, we want it for our car features. FOCUS ON the app CAR FEATURES PLEASE. the app Apple Watch app is great when it works but I constantly need to refresh it so it will work, so I don’t use it as often as I’d like to. Hopefully in a future update the app home screen of the app iPhone app gets revamped. What a waste of space having the app bottom half of the app screen dedicated to telling me I’m all caught up on reading messages I never get in the app first place. Come on! This app does not match the app Lincoln brand.
  • Promising, some issues

    By airuck (Pcmac user)

App is functional, but there’s one annoying issue and a few missing ones. the app constant “confirm I am not driving” popups are obnoxious: you KNOW I am not driving, I’m trying to start the app car! the app main convenience of this app is to quickly start your car remotely (say, from the app checkout line in the app grocery store), and these popups just frustrate users. I imagine it’s a liability thing or whatever, but surely you can program in an exception for when your car is not even turned on. Which is 95% of the app time when we’re using the app app. C’mon. :) Thrilled to see Apple Watch support starting, though its severely lacking now (no status update when an action completes, no way to shut engine off after starting, buttons are cramped and confusing (they look like you’re supposed to hold them but appear to be taps). These nit aside, climate controls and liftgate control would be much appreciated in the app future!
  • Dangerous!!! Horrible!

By Still disgusted with Comcast (Pcmac user)

Just installed the app app for a 15MKC after the app modem recall/change. With no warning, the app program let me establish a second account for one vehicle (using another of my email addresses). So then when I tried to start using it, each email was trying to establish a connection and the app whole thing froze on "requesting authorization." After multiple attempts to chat, finally found somebody who identified the app problem and deleted one account. But then when I tried to use the app other, it had to reestablish authorization with the app vehicle, which was being driven at the app time by my wife. First thing I see is a message the app I needed to park the app vehicle outside to verify the app start function! No way I could do that but also no way that app page would close. Meanwhile my wife gets a message in the app car that the app app wants to talk to the app car, so I have no idea is a start command is going to a vehicle in motion. No choice but to delete the app whole thing and try again another day.
  • Does not “link to your car”

    By RelayRunner13CO (Pcmac user)

Sure, I can locate my car with the app app. Great. But what about: 1) my service history? 2) where is my “vehicle health report”? Wait, I have to login to a separate website? Dinosaur-like. 3) what about my current mileage and where I’m at in my service warranty? 4) how about live syncing? My car is in WiFi zone every night. Why do I have to go to a dealer to get a firmware upgrade? I can do it myself, thanks, wait, my “modem” is too fast, faster than 3G. Ahhh! 5) how about at least a link to my oil life. the app thing I have to manually reset, because the app “low oil” gauge or “empty oil” followed by “normal oil” level within a few minutes doesn’t trigger an oil life reset. Is this not basic computer programming? Basic, at least I thought. C’mon Lincoln. Can you please hire some more, decent software engineers rather than loading up on business and mechanical engineers? Your tech game is poor, and not competitive. Maybe steal a Tesla engineer or heck, Nest home Climate Control engineers...
