Install Maginon SmartPlug app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Maginon SmartPlug on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Maginon SmartPlug"
- The search will reveal the Maginon SmartPlug app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Maginon SmartPlug is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Maginon SmartPlug.
- Now enjoy Maginon SmartPlug on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Maginon SmartPlug,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Maginon SmartPlug" » then Click "Install".
- Maginon SmartPlug will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:
- Turkish language support added in the latest version.
☹ Cons:
- Error message pops up and stays in a loop.
- App stops working after a while even after deleting and reloading.
- Inability to turn on lamps regardless of time settings.
- App is useless when it won't let you configure on/off time.
- Difficulty in registering for a new account with the checkmark not working.
- Device does not show up in Bluetooth.

Works but

Has been working then all of a sudden an error message pops up and stays in a loop. Deleted and reloaded but eventually error comes back after it works for a while

Thank god they added “Turkish language support” this last version.
Maybe the next version they can add back the ability to adjust the time of the on off schedule. Absolutely useless app when it won’t let you configure the on off time.

Disappointing

No matter what I set the time to, mine will not turn on the lamps. Now, both plugs have completely stopped responding to the app. I've only had them since November 2015. Please fix this!

Can't even register...

Not too good when you can't even register for a new account. The checkmark used to submit does nothing. The device just blinks green and never shows up in BlueTooth.
